Synthesizing Freud and Jean-Paul Sartre

Sartre starts his philosophy by presumptuous states of consciousness. He starts his discourse by contradicting Descartes Philosophy of thought farrfront Cogito Ergo Sum: i believe so I exist. Jean-Paul Sartre says that the consciousness of Descartes that thinks may be a secondary consciousness or in Sartre’s Words: the consciousness of the for-Itself.
